What a day already! The physical therapist made Brianna get out of bed and walk across the hall, then take a “shower”. Of course I was on the other side of her helping her walk, and I had to bathe her. I have no idea how these kids get taken care of when the parent isn’t around. this whole place just baffles me with how they operate. I stay awake all night and day giving meds, changing her, etc. I thought I was a nail technician but I guess while I am here, I am a nurse.
Brianna is totally exhausted but in so much pain she can’t sleep. Valium was supposed to be here at 1 so I paged her nurse at 2 and she said they decided against it. Well, thanks for letting us know! Ugh! I can’t wait to get out of here! I can surely take better care of her at home. The monitor alarms go off continually and nobody responds. Why are we here???
