We are in the hospital again! Brianna has had a fever with vomiting for the past 12 hours plus severe pain in her right kidney. We are awaiting another ultrasound, even though she just had one last Thursday. They also did another urine culture. We get to just sit here and wait.
Her temperature was 101.7 when we checked in the ER at 10:00m this morning. She received Tylenol about an hour ago and now her temperature is 102.4. Hmmm. Could anyone figure out what is wrong with her? What exactly do doctors learn in that many years of schooling? Makes me wonder!
I have missed work again today and really not sure how I am supposed to make a living to support her from this hospital. Any ideas??? It is rough being a single parent of a chronically ill child. There isn’t much help out there and something has got to give!
