American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation
Founded in 1970, Candlelighters has more than 40,000 members worldwide. Some of the free services provided by Candlelighters are a yearly bibliography and resource guide, quarterly newsletter, and various handbooks to help families of children with cancer.

Cops Fighting Cancer
Cops Fighting Cancer’s mission is to provide individualized financial, practical and emotional support to Colorado cancer patients and their families. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping Colorado cancer patients.

Heroes Forever
Heroes Forever is a Colorado 501(c)3 tax exempt non profit established by those affected by pediatric cancer in memory of Jerron Reczek and in honor of all “Heroes” who are undergoing treatment for pediatric cancer.

“Our mission is to provide pediatric cancer patients and their families with much needed support, family activities, relaxation and education.”

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
This organization provides financial assistance to families (up to $500/year for outpatients), funds research, sponsors a national program in education for the public and the medical community, and publishes a large number of booklets on cancer-related topics.

Starlight Starbright
Starlight Starbright helps seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities. Not cancer-specific. Good sections for teens (see Starlight Starbright on the teens page.)

Zac’s Legacy
“Providing assistance to families enduring the struggles of childhood cancer”. Zac’s Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that has been created to honor the memory of Zackery Allen Carlson, who in his short life touched the hearts of all that knew him.
