Hi there! Just a little update on Brianna. After seeing her urologist on Monday, he decided to put Brianna on preventative medicine for her recurrent kidney infections. He can’t seems to find a cause of them but will treat her with daily Macrobid. That’s not really what I was hoping for, but it will do for now. It should prevent her infections so she won’t have agonizing pain in her back every two weeks but I would really like to know the source of the problem.
She also had her labs done last Thursday at her Nephrologist and her kidneys have not declined any more in function and may have increased slightly. Yay! She can also stop her weekly Epogen shots for now since her counts are up higher. Things are looking good! Woohoo! Thank you Lord!
Brianna has a Halloween party to go to on Saturday and is quite excited about that. She will be Minnnie Mouse this year. Stay tuned for pics of that as you know it will be cute!
