So, how was everybody\u2019s Mother\u2019s Day? Mine was great! I am so blessed to be a mother. And this is the 1st Mother\u2019s Day in years we didn\u2019t spend in an ER or hospital at all! Brianna got a bad bladder infection on Friday before Mother\u2019s Day this year so we went wherever we wanted to on Sunday! Last year we spent it in the ER. Another year I spent it being checked out at urgent care after a car accident. Another year was in the hospital with Brianna.<\/p>\n
Getting to be a mom is only a dream for some women. And others may have lost their children. I can only imagine their pain. My heart goes out to all of the mothers who cried yesterday and longed for their children, while i was thoroughly enjoying mine. It almost felt selfish. How do you get through that holiday? We spent the latter half of the day at Cherry Creek Reservoir, soaking up the sun and having a picnic. Aside from the giant mosquitoes, we had an awesome day! Brianna collected an entire container of seashells. I was very surprised there were any there at all. After all, aren\u2019t they from the SEA? Go figure they are also in a man made reservoir!
